OBJECTIVES |
||||||||
In recent years, the principle of the Balanced Scorecard has been applied
to the management of IS in the business. This falls within the broader
context of another concept, that of the "IS governance”, itself the
result of the application of the concept of "Corporate governance"
in the field of information systems. Is this a new fad, a recurring phenomenon in the field of Information
Technology, or a trend that reflects the deep awareness of real needs? At the end of the training,
each trainee should: ·
get ownership of the concept of IS governance and of
the importance of best practices in this area. ·
be able to define role, mission and responsibilities
of people involved in the governance of an information system. |
